One of the many perks of #homeeducation is the #freedom to #travel ~ especially outside of peak season.
This week we were so thankful to share this time with fellow #homeeducating friends and family to celebrate our blessings and get outdoors in the wonderful wilderness of the Northeast Victorian Alpine region!
Bright & #porepunkah were utterly beautiful! The people and atmosphere were peaceful and pleasant and we give thanks for the fantastic opportunity to enjoy some quality time out together with those who have shared values.
A huge Thank you goes out to Annemarie Beatty from Albury / Wadonga Home Educators for organising this amazing event! We were sorry we didn’t get to meet everyone as we did see some familiar faces, we would have loved to get around to connecting with in person.
There were however over 50 families in attendance so we had plenty of fun getting to know a few of the friendly faces and neighbouring campers!
We met with old friends and new, joined by family and fellow home educators of all ages and stages for a range of activities, sight seeing and exploring together.
This was a wonderful way to start the year and we are so excited for more camps to come in future.
As lovers of travel who are frequently on the road, being with other homeschoolers is a fantastic way to enjoy the freedom we share to live and learn in our own unique ways!
We have another Home Education Camp all set for November in Jamieson and we can’t wait to enjoy another week away in the wild come November!
Be sure to book your river frontage site and get in early to secure your spot! We already have a few families joining us and we expect it to be a beautiful time of year to camp by the water!
